Networking

We have been, or are, affiliated with the following networking groups.  These groups were instrumental in building our business and establishing our reputation in the Seacoast, NH area through word-of-mouth advertising.  We have found these groups are not just a referral source for clients, but have also been the means to develop meaningful relationships with several of our colleagues, friends, mentors, and associates.  The names of each group serve as a link to their website, where you can find membership information, locations, dates, times and the various events provided by each.

BNI Networkers

BNI provides a structured environment for the development and exchange of quality business referrals. It is a great educational resource for those new to the world of networking.  The individual and group are accountable for referral effort results.  The commitment to building these referral sources is reinforced by weekly attendance by members. Membership is limited to one member per profession and there is an annual membership fee.  Several chapters are in existence, and local NH chapters are listed on the BNI-NH website.

Greater Barrington Chamber of Commerce

Formed in 1994 with 50 charter members, the Greater Barrington Chamber of Commerce has evolved over the years toward further promotion of small businesses and currently offers many business networking events.  A chamber luncheon, business after hours, and chamber round tables are among the many events geared toward small business exposure to the community. Very affordable annual fee, and rewarding involvement in community events and fundraisers.  Check out the website for locations and times.

One More Referral

One More Referral has various chapters throughout NH and generally meets twice per month.  There are various membership levels available, and there is no attendance requirement.  A speaker spotlight is presented at each meeting.  Each chapter is affiliated with a non-profit in their local area.  One More Referral also provides several fun ways to network at various seasonal events that are held throughout the year.

Check out the website for membership information, scheduled events, chapter locations and meeting times.

Seacoast Women’s Network

Founded in 1980, the Seacoast Women’s Network (SWN) has evolved into an organization of professional women that generally meet once per month.  The meetings are a sit down dinner with a speaker that presents topics that are of interest to women entrepreneurs.  There is usually an annual networking event, where businesses set up promotional tables to learn more about each other’s businesses.

Tradeport Connections

Based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Tradeport Connections is a structured networking group that meets weekly.  This group tracks the referral activity of the members and membership is limited to one member per profession.  Membership fees are paid quarterly to cover the cost of the meeting room.
